  • Expertise & Background

    Dr. Laura Grant is a licensed psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience walking alongside adults through healing, clarity, and transformation. Her background includes work in Veterans health, college counseling, long-term care, and community practice—offering deep experience in trauma, grief, identity development, and life transition.

    She completed her doctorate at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and has served as a clinical educator and consultant to psychology trainees and interdisciplinary teams. She is also an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry through UMass Chan Medical School, where she has trained medical fellows in trauma and forensic assessment.

    Dr. Grant works with individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, chronic illness, family stress, and significant life transitions. She is especially attuned to the needs of people of color, Veterans and their loved ones, caregivers, and individuals navigating spiritual, medical, or identity-related turning points. She is experienced in both 12-step and harm reduction approaches to recovery, and brings a depth of understanding to issues of codependency and relational healing. She also provides short- and longer-term couples therapy with a focus on communication, connection, and collaborative change.
